Air Lines serves Geneva’s Geneva-Cointrin Airport more
often than any other airline, as well as offers the best
local connections, between Geneva and Zurich, Bern, Lugano,
plus flights from several European capitals. Other
international airlines with flights to Geneva include Air
France with ten flights daily from Paris and British
Airways with fourteen flights each day from London.
To get into the downtown of Geneva, there’s a train
station connected to the air terminal with trains
departing on about 8 - 20 minutes for the short seven
minutes trip. By Train Geneva’s Chemins de Fer Fédéraux(CFF)
railway station in the city downtown is Gare Cornavin,
with a small tourist office branch at the railway station
as well.
Direct trains run from Geneva Airport – station
Genève-Aéroport – to many cities in Switzerland. Many
further connections depart from downtown Genève station.

Bus 5 – to Cornavin via Palexpo & Nations
Bus 10 – to Cornavin via Bouchet
Bus 23 – to Lancy in Southern Geneva (not via Cornavin)
Bus 28 – to Botanical Gardens via Palexpo (not to Cornavin)
By Car From Lausanne, take southwest on N1 to
the very end of southwestern part of the country.

each day and year-round from Montreux, Vevey, and
Lausanne.
